April
We will be partnering with several local businesses to put on a Easter carnival this year. The event will be held at Meadowview School from 10a-12p on Saturday, April 23rd. This is the Saturday before Easter. We hope to have a large turn out. This is a free event for the kids with games and prizes. See the event page on our facebook page under events.
May
May 2-6 is Teacher’s appreciation week and as a special thanks to our teachers Integrity Chiropractic will be offering a free visit to all teachers who come in during teacher appreciation week.
Know a teacher? Refer them into Integrity Chiropractic during the week of May 2-6 and they will receive a complimentary initial visit ($155 value) if they schedule an appointment by May 7, 2010. It’s just our small way of saying thanks to the teachers in our community.
June
It is almost time for our 4th annual Dew Days Kids Event. It will once again be held behind the CVS in Farmington. The event is scheduled for June 16th . We are involving several additional businesses this year and hope to see this annual event continue to grow and improve.
Thank you to all who helped make our kids day event a success. We had an estimated 500+ people visit the annual event this year.
Weight loss Program

In may we are introducing our 10,000 steps program to promote walking for better health. We are giving away pedometers to our patients to monitor their walking. Call or email us for more details.
Why 10,000 Steps A Day?
The '10,000 steps' goal puts a focus on the accumulation of activity across the whole day. With continual advances in technology and our workplaces becoming more sedentary it now takes a concerted effort to make active choices
10,000 steps or 5 miles walked burns an average of 500 calories. If you walk 10,000 steps, 7 days per week you burn 3500 calories which equals a 1 lb weight loss.
10,000 steps is the recommended daily step goal for a healthy adult. The following pedometer indices have been developed to provide a guideline on how many steps are enough 1 .

April April is Nutrition month in our office. We will be having a different healthy snack available in the office each week along with info on the benefits of that food.
Thank you to all of you who were able to attend our Economic Stimulus Event on April 18th. We had a great turn out and introduced our 10,000 steps program coming in May.
DOT Physicals
