It is time for our 3rd annual Dew Days Kids Event. It will once again be held behind the CVS in Farmington.  The event is scheduled for June 17th from 10am-2pm. We are involving several additional businesses this year and hope to see this annual event continue to grow and improve.

Weight loss Program

We are introducing a new weight loss program in our office called Medifast.  This is a weight loss and management program designed by physicians for use in their offices to help patients get to and maintain a healthy weight.  Call or email for information or go to www.drfink.tsfl.com .

 

May

In may we are introducing our 10,000 steps program to promote walking for better health.   We are giving away pedometers to our patients to monitor their walking.  Call or email us for more details.

10,000 steps or 5 miles walked burns an average of 500 calories. If you walk 10,000 steps, 7 days per week you burn 3500 calories which equals a 1 lb weight loss.

10,000 steps is the recommended daily step goal for a healthy adult. The following pedometer indices have been developed to provide a guideline on how many steps are enough 1 .

April

April is Nutrition month in our office.  We will be having a different healthy snack available in the office each week along with info on the benefits of that food.

Thank you to all of you who were able to attend our Economic Stimulus Event on April 18th.  We had a great turn out and introduced our 10,000 steps program coming in May.

 

DOT Physicals

Dr Fink is also certified to do DOT drug and alcohol testing.  Our office is offering these services as well as DOT and Sport physicals.  Call our office to find out how we can help you get your DOT physical updated quickly and save you time and money.

We are now in network with Medica & United as well as Healthpartners and Blue Cross.  We are in network with over 20 insurance plans so call if you have questions on your plan.
